We are devoted to the low carb life and helping others achieve a healthy lifestyle by adopting the low carb life. Low carb "diets" used to be very restrictive, consisting mainly of meat, eggs and cheese. We eat [low carb] bread, chocolate, ice cream, and other items that were taboo on the old, traditional low carb "diet".
When we decided to make this lifestyle change, the first thing I did was go through our kitchen and throw away all of the carbs. That was hard but it was also liberating!! No more snacking on half a bag of chips or hand full of cookies. Shortly after, the reality soon sunk in and we realized we needed much more variety in our choice of low carb foods. Since then, we've done a lot of research on carb counts, recipes and low-carb alternatives.
